… I don’t know to hop into the comment queue to read and approve your comments (Because of the terrible problem I have with spam, I need to manually approve all first-time commenters).
Now I’ve probably missed a checkbox somewhere, but there appears to be a bug in the notification process (WordPress is meant to send me an e-mail whenever a comment is left). And because I hadn’t blogged in more than a week and hadn’t even logged into WordPress during that time, I didn’t see a few comments that been held for moderation for more than a week!
And so, to Jeff Cutler, Dan Misener, and to Jamie Bull, your comments have been approved at last. For the delay, I can only say this: I’m sorry.

07|Apr|2008 1I have had problems with this - some comment notifications (not all) have ended up in my spam folder in gmail…while others randomly went into my inbox. I have since removed moderation, so now I only get notification for comments made, and not for so-called “spam” comments. Only issue is that sometimes the “spam” comments aren’t actually spam. And, every so often a comment ends up in Gmail spam…

13|Apr|2008 2Having the same problem on occasion on my blog. I sometimes don’t get notice of comments that automatically post. Go figure.
