It was with a mix of nostalgia and pride that I followed the proceedings from yesterday’s Boston Social Media Breakfast 9 (I founded the series, which has spread to a dozen cities around the world, in Beantown, in August 2007) — from the comfort of my new home office in Austin, Texas.
The #SMB9 Twitter hashtag was my guide to all the action, which included, in no particular order:
The vibe from the morning was overwhelmingly positive, if the tweets and links I’ve included below are any indication.
It isn’t easy to leave behind something you’ve started and worked hard to build, but I just knew the breakfast series would carry on just fine under Bob’s stewardship. Plus, I don’t plan to be a stranger forever: I’ll be popping in to the Boston breakfasts every now and again in the coming months.
